First of all, I don't want ANY comments that bash either Eragon the movie or the book. Dude, I know that both of them have their flaws. What doesn't? But I am so sick of reading trashy reviews that hint at little/no intelligence. If you didn't like the book, just say so. Don't give me a list of everything that sucked about it. And dude, I KNOW the movie totally screwed the book's plot. BUT I LOVED IT ANYWAY. I know that's hard to believe, but I did. I can't wait for the sequel, and I have my fingers crossed doubly that they'll make it... And no comments that say it ripped off Star Wars/LotR. Like I haven't heard THAT before. I just don't wanna have to go off on somebody... is all. *rant over*

OK. So these are a bunch of my favorite scenes from the movie. I HAD to give Arya elf ears in the top picture, though, because that really, REALLY irked me in the movie. I hope you can read all the captions, because I don't feel like typing them out...

I will say that I loved all the acting in the movie, except for John Malkovich's Galbatorix. He may have been the worst choice EVER. Yeah, I was disappointed that Murtagh was barely there and there was so Solembum or the Twins or Katrina... but I've heard there is going to be an extended edition DVD? I hope so... Anyway, my main problem with it was that the movie was way too short. I could have stayed in there and watched it for hours. *le sigh* I went with a large book club and we had a blast... I want to see it again, but I don't know when I can. *sulks*

Enjoy!

Thanks! You can't NOT laugh at Eragon... :D
I'm glad someone else who liked the book really enjoyed the movie! About half the people I've been talking to loved it, and the other half loathed it. I think that if the loathers had seen the movie and book as two separate things, they would have liked it a lot more.
I really liked it, personally. I was really impressed with the special effects as well. :D

I like your representations of the scenes!

Nice! :D
I love death by fingernail^^
I agree that both movie and book are good, as long as one doesn't see them as the same thing. I saw the movie before I read the book, well, I'm still reading it but! The thing is tht everything that happens comes as a complete surprise to me, which really is kind of good. Anyway, I actually thought John malkovich was rather good as Galbatorix, but that the script, particularly the dialog was a biteffed up...
Might just be that I loved John Malkovich so much in H2G2, though...
Anyway, brilliant comic-thingie!!

Thanks! Yes, the script was a bit... off. There were a lot of "HUH?" moments. But I'm still hoping for an Eldest movie.

Hope you enjoy the book!
You're welcome!
Yeah, me too^^ It looks great, most of the actors were great, the dialog makes me want to rip the scriptwriters head off...^^'
I did^^ finished it just two days ago. Now for eldest....

I did hear that the DVD will be an extended version, though. I mean, there are screencaps all over the place that weren't even in the theater version... So hopefully it will be longer and a few more characters will be thrown into the mix...
oh it would be wonderful! I really hope it, but I not really think it.
