Wow. This was a job.

I wanted to try digital painting. Ha. I tried. I do like how it looks on its own, but when you consider the original photo, there's little similarity. Ah, well. We'll just say this is my vision of the essence of the character. Yes? Yes.

This is Dan Goodman from the Broadway musical, Next to Normal, which is amazing, frankly. He's my favorite character, and I was inspired to try to draw him. Wah. You should all listen to some of the music on the Next to Normal Site. DO IT. It's a rock musical that is awesome.
