I've decided to start doing a few commissions! Not too many slots will be open just because I don't know how much time I'll have once school starts back in a month, but presumably, I can offer more commissions when I get enough free time to do them.

So, here are the different options:

Chibi/Cute Drawings


$5 - These will all be digitally colored, since the lineart is pretty simple. MAX: 2 characters per drawing. If you want more, then I will raise the price accordingly.

Character Shots


$10 - Pencil sketch. MAX: 2 characters per drawing.
$15 - Digitally colored (quite a bit more labor intensive). MAX: 2 characters per drawing.

Payment
I will be using PayPal only. If you'd like to commission something, just SEND ME A NOTE on dA detailing what kind you'd like and any relevant information about the character you want me to know about. After that, I will send you my email address so you can send payment through PayPal. Once that's done, I'll start your commission right away.

This came out of nowhere, oh my God.

So Saoirse is gonna play Melanie/Wanderer! This is so exciting for me. When I first heard it, I just kind of stared at the screen and forgot to breathe. She is SOOOOOO talented. I love her dearly, and I think they made such a great choice with this casting. And since we didn't know they were EVEN looking to cast people, it's such a pleasant shock in that no one really had favorite choices for the role. OH MAN, OH MAN.

I really hope that Andrew Niccol decides to direct it again, now that he's not doing other movies. His movies are great.

OH MY GOSSSSSHHHHHHHHH.

OMG, you guys. I finally got the Twilight Guide and Aro, you are such an adorable psychopath, help, I don't know how to love youuuuuu.

The only thing I'm disappointed with so far is that a.) there are no Volturi illustrations (But I think if they continue with the graphic novels, which I really think they will, then we will get some Young Kim illustrations of them eventually. Which is okay by me.) and b.) there are no character profiles for the Volturi wives. I really wanted to know more about them! Luckily, we do get some new info about them in the longer articles on the Volturi coven and the main three. I feel all inspired again and as soon as finals end (THREE MORE WEEKS), I am probably going to draw tons of Volturi/Twilight art because OMG YOU ARE ALL SO PRECIOUS/CRAZY.

Also, the Guide is so huge. I did not expect it to be that big, but it's more than 500 pages, and they're all really THICK to preserve the image quality.

Some random bits I've found interesting (and I haven't even begun to peruse the other character sections, so I'm looking forward to that):

• Aro's probably around 40. (I'd err on the younger side of 39, though. XD)

• AND MARCUS IS YOUNGER THAN 20, BLESS YOUR HEART, CHILD.

• The story of how Aro met Sulpicia is HILARIOUS to me. "Hey, random human orphan, I'll bet you'd make a pretty loyal vampire chick. JOIN ME." XD Such a charmer.

• Aro and Carlisle! Conveniently dropping bleeding human bodies in the room while Carlisle is trying to study! BLESSSSSSSSS.

• "Aro has a special relationship with Chelsea that is unlike any other among the guard." COUGH. WELL.

Basically, there is a LOT of stuff here that I am going to run with. This book is wonderful.

Wow, guys. Just, wow. Somehow I missed this milestone by a bit. What on earth are y'all still doing here? Anyway, thank you so much. I'll try to do something nice and manly for you all soon. I've got four weeks of this semester left, so hopefully I can get to it then.

Even the journal entry screen is different! I... oh man, I've missed everything.

I finally organized everything in my gallery - it was inexcusable that it was so messy before. I wish I could say the same about my favorites, but it's gotten almost too unruly to deal with (as have the deviations sitting in my inbox. Is 5,000 too much? LOL).

Let's talk about stuff!

The new series of Doctor Who starts in like... TWO WEEKS? I AM SO EXCITED FOR IT. This is the first one I'll get to watch as it airs. The trailers look amazing. GAH.

Also, they cast the main three characters for The Hunger Games movie. I really like them. Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth weren't really my first choices for Peeta and Gale (I was a Hunter Parrish girl, oh god, was I), but I really think they'll do great. Josh has a wonderful personality in interviews and Suzanne Collins said he nailed the audition, so I'm happy. And Liam is cool, too.

I was the most elated about Jennifer Lawrence being cast, though. She's been my pick for Katniss ever since I saw her in Winter's Bone last year. I can't believe she actually got cast. She will be brilliant. BRILLIANT, I SAY.

I've heard a bunch of rumors about script changes and the like, which didn't really sit well with me at first, but knowing that Suzanne is really involved with the movie makes me happy. Hopefully any changes will just make for a more compelling movie that's still true to the main themes of the book. Really, as long as the actors nail the characters, I'll be happy. GUH ONE MORE YEAR, I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in, procrastinate, and say thanks for the pageviews. I can't even deal.

So I've totally been neglecting my dA lately. Sorry about that. College is kind of kicking my butt, and I don't have a lot of time to draw. ;_; I might post some scrappy things this weekend. Thanks for being so patient with me.

By far the most popular thing I've done in my gallery is "Man Time," which gets the most comments/faves/requests-for-more-strips than anything else. There will be more, I promise, but I am just very, very slow at getting them done. Every time I read a comment about it, I feel like I'm disappointing people by being so slow about it, but... that is the way it goes. It takes a lot of time to put one together, and sometimes I just have too much else to do. But don't despair! IT WILL GET DONE! EVENTUALLY!

And now I'm just going to talk about random things I'm excited about. The Hunger Games movie needs to get moving, I swear. I'm so tired of speculating about the cast! I've had time to collect my own little dreamcast, but I just really hope they get people who are great actors and fit the parts well. Last I heard it was going to start filming around April or May, so... that needs to happen SOON.

And The Host got a director, which means that movie is finally happening. I can't even imagine how they're going to do it, but I love that book so much.

Also, good TV shows I've been watching: Miranda. Misfits. Firefly. Dead Like Me. I think I ought to do some Misfits fanart actually because that show is amazing.

This whole entry is probably impossible to understand, but I just don't want to go to bed or work on my essays, so... HERE I AM.
