I. Don't. Know. What. That. Was.

I'm actually surprised how many people have not read this book because they're getting it mailed to them. I wouldn't have thought... but whatever.

Basically, upon finishing the book, I have no real opinion of it. Certainly, there were parts that I absolutely loved it. As an Aro lover, there was no way I could help from squeeing multiple times. As an Edward fan, there were a lot of adorable moments. Jacob pretty much rocked every character there.

But if the ending hadn't been completely and utterly MADE OF AWESOME, I would probably have really hated it.

And I hate that I sort of hate it.

It all centers on one twist, my friends. One grand, epic twist that no one could have seen coming unless they were joking about it. I did not like the twist. At all. It made me really, really angry. Because it was so outlandish, I started to think of the book as a crazy crackfic.

Buuuuuut, I don't really think it was. Honestly, I think after I get over the shock of it all, it might make more sense to me. And there were parts I liked. It just didn't really feel like Twilight in a lot of places.

But lots of people loved it. I'm just... pleasantly neutral about it. I'm hoping no one gives Stephenie a hard time about it. It was her story, and she can end it however she wants.

However, I think I liked Twilight a lot better before this book came out. Sooooo... make of that what you will. RAPE OF THE INNOCENCE!
